This beautiful box of Inspiration contains a collection of Merino wools and decorative fibre pack, selection of beads and fancy yarns to embellish with. You will receive the pack in the images. 
 
This colour combination was inspired by some of my favourite colour combinations. So many variations can be achieved depending on your dominant colour choice. Add texture and depth to the surface by adding the natural decorative fibres to the wool once laid out. I like to use fancy yarns to add texture or outline areas. I tend to snip shorter lengths and tease the yarn a little so it attaches to the background wool when felting. Experiment by trying varying ways of adding to the surface. Try placing a little fibre over parts of the yarn to assist it attaching. Blend the Merino wool with snippets of yarn and then layout. 
Also experiment with yarns by felting part of the yarn on the surface and leave some yarn extending beyond the edge to create a fringe or tassels. To add further embellishment once dry there is a selection of beads to stitch to the surface included. Have fun and experiment!
I like to use the carded batts in the same way as tops. I split the batt into slimmer lengths and tease out and lay out. The blended batts are best used for the final layer.
Some wool in the form of combed tops in colours as shown, and some in the form of a mini carded batt in a blend of colours as shown.
